We count on our bucks to pass along the milk potential in their pedigrees to their daughters and sons. Bucks are not fun to show because of their strong odor, but a good bath before the shows certainly does help. Proper structure is important, prefering a buck with plenty of angulation that will pass that on to his daughters for long-term strength in the rear especially, where (hopefully) all that milk will be kept. Although each judge has their own preferences, we feel that one of the measures of a quality buck is that which is only proven in the show ring - that it can compete against all other bucks not only within the ND breed but all ADGA dairy goat breeds. I respect those breeders who no longer wish to show their bucks in the showring - it's a pain and they've already 'paid their dues'. But, since I really don't mind leading 4 of my bucks to ringside at one time, I want my boys out there being evaluated for their structural qualities also. A buck contributes not only his mammary system potential but also his overall structural qualities and both are equally important to produce fine kids out of quality does.

And now he has added his +B status with ADGA as the sire of 3 different Dairy Star daughters out of 3 different dams!

(It'l Do's Arapaho 'E' x Ponders End Maximum Cheers)
Sebastian brings to our herd an outstanding pedigree, very correct structure and excellent dairy quality. He has been shown 4 times and won in all 4 shows, remaining undefeated. 3 of the shows were ADGA sanctioned and he not only took Best Buck in Breed but also Best Buck IN SHOW *ALL* shows! He's just awesome. His son took Grand Champion Junior Buck at 6 months of age, and 3 of Sebastians daughters also took Best Get Of Sire in the same show!
He has wonderful breed character and a friendly disposition that all of his kids inherit. We look forward to what this super buck will do for our herd in the future. Correct feet and legs, wide in the escutcheon, uphill stance with tight shoulders, excellent width in the chest floor and barrel, pliable dairy skin - we just like everything this boy has to offer. From a repeated breeding which has produced excellent dairy qualities without loosing substance, we feel that Sebastian has it all.
His kids are here and we are very pleased. They are simply so correct. Seb's sire has acheived his +S, which gives Sebastian his inherited star. We look forward to seeing his daughters earn their star and AR awards in the near future!

Dam: Piddlin Acres Charity2*D AR 'E'
(Jobi Toledo+*S 'VG' x MCH Piddlin Acres Diamond Deb*D 'E')
Charity is a full sister to Piddlin Acres Alley Oops*D, 1999 #4 top ten milk producer and #10 in 2000. Charity's high milk weight for 2004 was 5.7#. This buck has a very uphill stance naturally with tight shoulders and good feet. Cheshire is one of quads also.
Cheshire is a half-brother to the AGS 2005 Nationals Best Udder in Show doe, Rosasharn's UK Witch Hazel 5*D 'E' !! Congratulations, Anne!
This boy is simply outstanding. Level topline, blended clean shoulders, very nice angulation, correct feet and legs, first in his class at a recent show! With a pedigree like this we have no worries about his abilities to pass on not only lovely show qualities but excellent milk production potential too. If we would ask for any improvements, we'd like to see more width from pin to pin. A very dairy buck, he adds refinement to his kids and crosses well with powerhouse does. His sire's dam was #1 milk producer in both 2002 AND 2003!
Congratulations go out to Heather for aquiring Cheshire for her herd at Fair Skies!

It's hard to say more than necessary about this outstanding young buck's pedigree other than that it promises to contribute bountiful milk production to our herd as well as correct structure. Cloud is our little powerhouse - only measuring 19 3/4" high. Very correct from hips to pins, thurl to thurl. Very dairy skin as evidenced from his photo at only 2 1/2 years of age. All of his daughters have his dishy refined head and are cookie cutters. They also mature very quickly and have birthed easily, an excellent attribute to any breeding program. And his kids are long! His escutcheon is open, wide, and high. Line bred on Gay-Mor sires and WGF Millie - 2000 #1 ND milk producer, who produced 1545 pounds of milk in 305 days with 90 pounds of butterfat as a 3 year old ! Jobi Cream2*D produced 1070 pounds in 267 days for her 2nd lactation in 2000, ME 1222#, and has been in the top ten for 3 years straight. Gay-Mor Java's Kappuccino was out of Gay-Mor's Reggae's Nestle Quik 2*D, 1997 top milk producer, by Krossroad Berry's Java Joe, a son of the great Goodwood Lingonberry++*S. Thank you, Joanne, for allowing us the pleasure of owning this awesome powerhouse.

He has been used on a number of our does this year and we are looking forward to his kids growing up! Thank you Joanne for sending us yet another great buck to add to our mammary and show genetics here.

Note: This boy's pedigree is a linebreeding on ARMCH Gay-Mor's RA Kava 2*D - who is a littermate sister to the great Kingwood! According to Gail Putcher of Gay-Mor: "Kava's dam, Trillium, was a terrific doe with a gorgeous, well attached udder. She went GCh four times and Ch Challenge winner six times, and Best Udder nine times. She classified 93.9 E under Sandy Liska and 92.8 and 92.1 under Harvey" Consadine (HES).
We thank Darlene for sending us a wonderful young buck 'thick' with Gay-Mor bloodlines and linebred on Kava. Xaver is a stunning uphill buck, level topline (under all that hair!), great feet and legs, super width in hips and pins, clean hocks, strong brisket, and a very correct head. Almost Dalmatian in coloring, he also has gold moonspots. We look forward to using this buck, especially with our Jobi line of which many go back to Gay-Mor Jetstream++
*S and other notable Gay-Mor animals. We also have his beautiful littermate sister here in our herd, Xandy. Xaver was bred to some of best girls and his kids are on the ground - wow, we are impressed with their outstanding structure, flashy moonspotted coloring, and great dispositions.

This boy is our up and coming youngster. A gold buckskin, Xanadu is so well balanced, his topline, overall length, dish face, and strong lower jaw all announce that he 'has arrived'. Standing uphill on strong feet with plenty of angulation, he is an exciting boy that we are looking forward to using here. He is pictured above at only 2 months old... just awesome.

What a Chamoise buckling! Just look at him...he owned the place from the moment he arrived too. His sire Rio is known for setting great feet and legs as well as strong mammary systems, improving laterals too. His dam has outstanding breed type, strong attachments, and outstanding teats and udder floor. Her high test day as a first freshener was 3.6 pounds. Denali 's sister is being retained by the Dragonfly herd, orginally sold, I think Joanne's blessed to be able to keep her after all. Denali will be used on some of our summer freshenings, he has a full dance card waiting

1x RCh Senior Buck
Tux hates being held by the collar! He walks out smoothly with a beautiful topline and uphill stance though, just don't ask him to stand and pose - grrrrr! He has lots of width from pin to pin and a well defined high escutcheon with plenty of width, very dairy skin, high tight shoulders, and a very attractive head, all of which he passes on to his kids. We'd like to see more angulation in the rear, he's just a little straight so has been bred to does here with more rear leg angulation and the kids have indeed improved rears. A powerhouse buck with a pleasing gentle temperament, he also produces lots of the black and white pinto kids! All of his kids this year except for one were longer and improved upon. His daughter Tsunami has freshened with a very nice high tight udder with excellent medial and foreudder as well!
We don't have to say allot here about milk production potential, he's got it! This black and white 'pinto' boy has been carefully selected for his long line of top milk producing genetics.
His sire's side:
Jetstream's sire is Goodwood Lingonberry ++*S, his dam is Gay-Mor Reggae's Nestle Quick 2*D, 1996 #1 producer with 1499 pounds in 305 days. Jobi Pansy 4*D produced 1022 pounds in 305 days as a 2 year old.
His dam's side:
WGF Millie*D is the All-Time Lifetime High Milk Producer - to date she has now produced 7460#'s of milk in just 1952 production days. Jobi Misti 2*D, produced 1247 pounds of milk in 305 days during her second lactation completed in 2003, taking the #2 spot in the country for ND milk production!
We maintain a closed herd and do not do any live coverings for our herd health's considerations. Thank you for your understanding.
