Thunder is an exeptional buck linebred on Jobi Misti, 2004 #8 Top Ten milk producer! Sharp withers, very dairy in length, width, depth, and overall appearance. He has very nice wide pin bones relative to the hip bones which is very important to pass on to his daughters. And I really like how much turn to the stifle he has - plenty of rear angulation. He had been used on a number of our does a few years ago now, we've waited to see the results and oh my, his daughters are easily gaining their milk stars, also taking best of breed udder awards! He's really improving udder height, width, and milk volume. He toes out slightly in the front but that's lessend over the years too. When crossed onto Cloud's daughters has produced top show and milk producers too. Thank you Joanne for sending us yet another great buck to add to our herd. One of Thunder's sons, Silveraurora TH Xenya, already completed his ADGA and AGS dual championships. Thunder hasn't been shown in a few years now

Note: This boy's pedigree is a linebreeding on ARMCH Gay-Mor's RA Kava 2*D - who is a littermate sister to the great Kingwood! According to Gail Putcher of Gay-Mor: "Kava's dam, Trillium, was a terrific doe with a gorgeous, well attached udder. She went GCh four times and Ch Challenge winner six times, and Best Udder nine times. She classified 93.9 E under Sandy Liska and 92.8 and 92.1 under Harvey" Consadine (HES).
We thank Darlene for sending us a wonderful buck 'thick' with Gay-Mor bloodlines and linebred on Kava. Xaver is a stunning uphill buck, level topline, great feet and legs, super width in hips and pins, clean hocks, strong brisket, and a very correct head. Dalmatian in pattern, he also has gold moonspots. We used him heavilya fe years ago, especially with our Jobi line of which many go back to Gay-Mor Jetstream++*S and other notable Gay-Mor goats. We'll see how his daughters do.

Sire: +*B AGS/ADGA Champion Twin Creeks WB Sebastian Bach +*S
Dam: Herzingers PC Bella Luna *M *D AR
This is our new guy we've been letting grow up in the buck herd. We'll be using him this fall. His sire, Sebastian, was an incredible buck that passed on style and dairiness to his daughters. Bet's dam, Bella Luna, has one of the nicest udders we've had for ease of milking as well as attachments and milk volume. Not a tall guy, but just what we wanted.
We have a couple of other young bucks here waiting in the wings. One out of Xaver's sister, another out of our grand old lady Ginger (retired), as well as a couple other buck kids we're watching. Their dams have proven themselves in the milk pail and some in the show ring as well. We don't mind keeping them back for a while, we have the room and plenty of hay and grain. ADGA appraisals only happen in Alaska once every other year at best, but it's an important tool in looking at the whole picture of what a buck can contribute. More important tho, as always, is what his dam and grand dams have accomplished!
We maintain a CAE and Johne's negative herd and do not do any live coverings for our herd health's considerations. Thank you for your understanding.
Does of ours for sale may be able to be bred to one of our bucks for a daily boarding fee $4) and buck service fee ($100-$150) if we have an available pen to do so. Arrangements must be made in advance and all monies paid in full in advance. We reserve the right to refuse buck service without explanation. Thank you for your understanding!

2006 ADGA Alaska State Fair Best Buck In Show for the 3rd time!
Sebastian remains undefeated in all shows he's ever been entered in.
And now he has added his +B status with ADGA as the sire of 3 different Dairy Star daughters out of 3 different dams. He also now has 2 daughters (that we know of!) that have gone Best in Show over all other breeds.

Sebastian brings to our herd an outstanding pedigree, very correct structure and excellent dairy quality. He has been shown 4 times and won in all 4 shows, remaining undefeated. 3 of the shows were ADGA sanctioned and he not only took Best Buck in Breed but also Best Buck IN SHOW *ALL* shows! He's just awesome. His son took Grand Champion Junior Buck at 6 months of age, and 3 of Sebastians daughters also took Best Get Of Sire in the same show.So many of his daughters have earned their dairy stars and AR's, he easily gained his Plus status in both registries. We now have his son in our herd, You Bet I Am (my father's image!), and will be using him on some of our girls for 2011 kids.
Sebastian had wonderful breed character and a friendly disposition that all of his kids inherited. Correct feet and legs, wide in the escutcheon, uphill stance with tight shoulders, excellent width in the chest floor and barrel, pliable dairy skin - we just like everything this boy had to offer. From a repeated breeding which has produced excellent dairy qualities without loosing substance, we feel that Sebastian had it all. Rest peacefully my sweet boy, we will miss you.

It's hard not to say too much about this outstanding boy's pedigree other than that it promises to contribute bountiful milk production to his kids as well as correct structure - and it has! His first freshening daughters easily gain their dairy stars and AR's. Cloud is our short guy, only measuring 20" high, but that happened before he flew up to Alaska, no thanks to 2 bouts of Cocci and not enough Vit B afterwards. His height hurts him in the show ring so our calm boy with the great disposition stays home, even tho he's my personal favorite. Most of his daughters are as tall or taller than he is, but they have his freight-train length and almost always a long flat rump too. Cloud is very correct from hips to pins, thurl to thurl. Very dairy skin as evidenced from his photo at only 2 1/2 years of age too. All of his daughters have his dishy refined head and are cookie cutters. They also mature very quickly and have birthed easily, an excellent attribute to any breeding program. And his kids are long! His escutcheon is open, wide, and high. He doesn't help with laterals so it's best to use him on does that have plenty of those. Line bred on Gay-Mor sires and WGF Millie - 2000 #1 ND milk producer, who produced 1545 pounds of milk in 305 days with 90 pounds of butterfat as a 3 year old - was in the breed Top Ten AND has set breed records numerous times. Jobi Cream 2*D produced 1070 pounds in 267 days for her 2nd lactation in 2000, ME 1222#, and has been in the top ten for 3 years straight. Gay-Mor Java's Kappuccino was out of Gay-Mor's Reggae's Nestle Quik 2*D, 1997 top milk producer, by Krossroad Berry's Java Joe, a son of the great Goodwood Lingonberry++*S. Thank you, Joanne, for allowing us the pleasure of owning this awesome guy. We really love his daugters, and especially the contribution to our herd as well as many others that he's made.
Thank you for visiting our ND buck page!
